An HTTPS Proxy Server routes payment requests between the POS and our internet capable terminal facilitating easy integration without the need for expensive or complex integration middleware software. If the POS can talk to a web server, it can talk to our payment terminal.
We communicate with the POS through our payment switch over public broadband using TCP-IP over Ethernet or WiFi.
This new architecture supports thin client and ASP models, complies with new scheme rules regarding integrated EFTPOS over IP and allows zero-configuration, remote diagnostics and downloads.
Our existing POS partners have told us that they have been able to do the integration with Tyro in a few short weeks.
