Tyro Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) supports up to 135 international currencies. It is available on all terminals at no cost.
In fact, your
business will earn extra revenue from the foreign exchange margins used
to convert the amount to the cardholder's home currency. YOU benefit, instead of the issuing bank.
Existing merchants will need to fill out and fax the DCC Merchant Consent Forma available here among documents. To have the DCC feature enabled on your terminal, just call Tyro Support on 1300 966 639.
Scheme rules expressly disallow acquirers from entering into agreements with merchants outside the acquirer's country of domicile. Tyro is an Australian acquirer that is authorised to serve Australian merchants.
Tyro's Australian merchants conducting business overseas can use the Tyro terminal to accept payment from a location outside of Australia in the normal conduct of their business. Tyro settles into the merchant's Australian bank account.
