Tfast50yro won again the Australian 2014 Technology Fast 50 and the Asia Pacific 2014 Technology Fast 500 award.

The Technology Fast 500 award winners are selected based on percentage fiscal year revenue growth during the period from 2011 to 2013 (or 2012 to 2014 for a financial year ending between January and June). Eligibility for the Technology Fast 500 requires that companies own proprietary intellectual property or technology that is sold to customers in products that contribute to a majority of the company’s operating revenues.

Now in its fourteenth year in Australia, the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 program ranks fast growing technology companies, public or private, based on percentage revenue growth over three years. 19 companies have won multiple times. Tyro Payments is one of only three to have won three times. 6 other companies won even four and five times.

The Deloitte Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific is the pre-eminent technology awards program in Asia Pacific, and now in its thirteenth year, it includes nine Asia Pacific locations: Australia;China (including Hong Kong); India; Japan; South Korea; Malaysia; New Zealand; Singapore and Taiwan. Combining technological innovation, entrepreneurship and rapid growth, Technology Fast 500 companies — large, small, public, and private — span a variety of industry sectors, and are leaders in hardware, software, telecom, semiconductors, life sciences and emerging areas, such as clean technology. These companies are transforming the way business is done today.

Tech_Fast500_AsiaPacific_CMYK 2014I am particularly proud, because maintaining such continued growth, not with a global internet business model, but with a local banking model, competing with the dominant bank oligopoly, is that much more an outstanding achievement.

It is owed to the fabulous team of now 165 Tyros, a community of 12,000 small-to-medium businesses that have entrusted us with their EFTPOS service and the many, many other supporters of our daring endeavour.

A big thank you to all of you!
