Tyro Merchant Get Merchant $200 (Offer) Terms and Conditions
The Offer applies to the Tyro customer originally receiving an email from Tyro Payments Limited (ABN 49 103 575 042) (Tyro) detailing the Offer (Referrer). The Referrer and the new business customer they refer to Tyro (New Customer) can each receive $200 if the New Customer:
- completes an application form to become a Tyro customer (excluding Bendigo Bank powered by Tyro and/or any special offer for Tyro EFTPOS, including Tyro EFTPOS offered in partnership with Telstra);
- has not previously been a Tyro customer at any time within 6 months prior to the commencement date of this Offer;
- enters the unique referral code shared by the Referrer. Invalid or incomplete codes will not be eligible;
- submits their application to Tyro by midnight 30 June 2022;
- processes a minimum of $5,000 worth of eligible transactions in a calendar month before 31 July 2022;
- is one of the first 300 customers to complete the above before 30 June 2022;
collectively the ‘Eligibility Criteria’.
Eligible transactions include all business as usual customer card transactions processed through the New Customer’s Tyro terminal and/or Tyro eCommerce but exclude any transaction(s) made for the sole or principal purpose of meeting the Eligibility Criteria as reasonably determined by Tyro (Ineligible Transactions). If Tyro discovers any Ineligible Transactions have occurred, both the Referrer and the New Customer will not qualify and will be ineligible to receive $200.
The Offer commences on 1 March 2022 and is only available to a Referrer and New Customer where the New Customer has its application submitted to Tyro by midnight 30 June 2022 and meets the Eligibility Criteria, for up to a maximum of 10 eligible referrals per Referrer. The Referrer will only be eligible for payment if the Referrer is a Tyro customer at the time Tyro processes the payment for the eligible New Customer which may be up to a maximum of 1 month after the Eligibility Criteria are met.
The Referrer can receive the $200 into their nominated Linked Account each time a New Customer satisfies the Eligibility Criteria set out above up to a maximum of 10 payments.
The $200 payment is inclusive of GST. Tyro and both the Referrer and New Customer (severally, Supplier) declare that Tyro can issue tax invoices in respect of the $200 payment. The Supplier will not issue tax invoices in respect of the payment. The Supplier acknowledges that it is registered for GST and that it will notify Tyro if it ceases to be registered for GST. Tyro acknowledges that it is registered for GST and that it will notify the Supplier if it ceases to be registered for GST. Participation in the Offer constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions which form a RCTI agreement.
For eligible Referrers and New Customers, the $200 will be paid to their nominated Linked Account in the month after all Eligibility Criteria have been met. For privacy reasons, Tyro will not tell a Referrer which New Customer met the applicable Eligibility Criteria.
If a Referrer uses this Offer in a manner that is not consistent with the reasonable intent of the Offer (such as sharing a referral code on any website, or advertising or marketing a referral code), Tyro may refuse to honour the $200 payment (including in respect of any or all referrals made in relation to the Offer) and may in its discretion prohibit the Referrer from further participation in the Offer or any future offers by Tyro. This includes any activities on a Referrer’s or New Customer’s part which are designed to undermine the fair and intended operation of the Offer.
This Offer is available for a limited time only and limited to 300 customers. This Offer is also limited to 10 eligible referrals per Referrer and is not applicable in conjunction with any other promotional offer. Tyro reserves the right to extend or withdraw this Offer at any time at its sole discretion. If Tyro withdraws the Offer, Tyro will honour the Offer in respect of all New Customers that have their applications approved by Tyro before the Offer is withdrawn, provided that applicants satisfy all of the Eligibility Criteria. New Customers can cancel any live application in the event that Tyro withdraws the Offer.
Tyro’s products are financial products. This means that Referrers can refer New Customers to Tyro but can’t give advice on Tyro’s products.
