Mobile App Security

How we protect our customers

  1. All transactions performed via the Tyro App application are protected by passcode/password.
  2. Tyro enforces multi-factor authentication when setting up your credentials, this means our security system requires more than one channel of authentication from independent categories of credentials to verify your identity.
  3. The Tyro App is protected with industry-standard strong encryption.
  4. Tyro’s back-end applications are developed with fraud detection technologies.

Security tips

  1. Do NOT store or write down passcode/password on your mobile device.
  2. Remember to log out of Tyro App once you’ve finished banking.
  3. Install apps from official stores only, such as Apple’s App Store or Google Play. Installing apps from unofficial stores may expose you to malicious software.
  4. Always keep your operating system and the Tyro App updated.
