Tyro Go now available at over 400 Australia Post Stores

From today Australians can purchase Tyro Go, a mobile EFTPOS reader that accepts payments on the go, from over 400 Australia Post stores across the country.

The expansion to Australia Post stores is an extension of the Tyro Telstra Alliance – with Tyro Go hitting the shelves in more than 400 Telstra stores and Telstra Business Technology Centres at the beginning of February.

“From Airlie Beach to Alice Springs, Geelong to Geraldton, Tyro Go will be available for purchase at Australia Post or Telstra stores in every state and territory,” said Tyro CEO Jon Davey.

“This incredible expansion means there will be over 800 stores Australia wide where customers will be able to buy a Tyro Go EFTPOS reader, walk out, and be taking payments that same day.”

Tyro Go is perfect for mobile businesses that need to take payments on the go, such as tradies, cafes, or pop-up stores. The low cost, easy to use, portable device connects wirelessly to smart phones or tablets – meaning it can be used anywhere someone has a Wi-Fi or mobile internet connection (3G, 4G, or 5G).

The Tyro Go EFTPOS reader is small enough to fit in your pocket, connects to compatible iOS or Android smart devices, and can send branded receipts via email. It accepts Visa, Mastercard, EFTPOS, American Express, JCB, as well as digital wallets like Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Samsung Pay. Tyro Go is complemented by Tyro’s new digital onboarding platform which enhances the experience for businesses signing up for Tyro products.
