Tyro Health launches certified Aged Care Solution ahead of Support at Home rollout

Integration-ready solution delivers certified Support at Home claiming and payments, connecting providers and partners through a single platform

27 October 2025, Sydney — Ahead of the Australian Government’s Support at Home program commencing on 1 November, Tyro Health today announced its fully certified Aged Care Solution, enabling software partners to deliver immediate functionality to providers as the new framework goes live.

The new Support at Home program marks the most significant transformation to in-home aged care in over a decade, introducing a new funding and claiming model for providers.

Built on Tyro Health’s proven digital health payments platform, the certified Aged Care Solution has been designed to help providers and software partners transition seamlessly to the new framework; enabling compliant, secure, and efficient claiming and payments from day one.

This integration-ready approach allows software partners to deliver certified claiming and payment capability immediately, without having to build and maintain their own certification from scratch.

For providers whose software vendors are still finalising integrations, Tyro Health’s web portal offers immediate access to certified functionality, ensuring compliance and uninterrupted claiming as the Support at Home program commences.

“With the sector now entering the final readiness phase for Support at Home, providers are facing significant system and process changes,” said Adrian Perillo, CEO of Tyro Health. “Tyro Health has worked closely with government and industry to ensure our fully certified solution is tested and ready to support the new claiming model as soon as it goes live.”

Tyro Health’s established API and integration framework eliminates development risk and accelerates time-to-market. Developers can incrementally integrate capabilities into their practice management systems; starting with high-volume, essential Support at Home features and expanding over time.

Critically, this fully certified interface supports all claiming and payment functionality available through Services Australia, including the ability to process individual contributions – all within a single integration.

“Our priority has been to ensure aged care providers and software vendors can comply with the new framework without disruption to the delivery of quality care,” Mr Perillo added. “Tyro Health’s Aged Care Solution removes the complexity from the claiming process, allowing providers to focus on their clients, not their compliance systems.”

Tyro Health encourages providers and software partners to connect early to ensure a seamless start when the Support at Home framework officially begins on 1 November.
