Setting up your Tyro EFTPOS Machine after a period of inactivity

If you haven’t used your Tyro EFTPOS machine in a while and are about to start getting customers paying in person again, follow these instructions to make sure everything goes smoothly:

You’ll want to plan ahead – turn on your Tyro EFTPOS machine a few days before you need to use it. This will allow you to see if the battery life is still normal and if your cable is still functioning. If not, then there’s time for you to order a new one if you need it. This will also allow any updates to be downloaded to the machine. Any integrations you may have had between your EFTPOS machine and POS should still work once connected.
