Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions govern this offer (Offer Terms).

These terms and conditions are to be read in conjunction with the Tyro Terms and Conditions found at https://www.tyro.com/terms-and-conditions/. To the extent the Offer is inconsistent with the Tyro Terms and Conditions, the Tyro Terms and Conditions prevail to the extent of the inconsistency.

Capitalised terms in this Offer have the meaning given to them in the Tyro Terms and Conditions unless otherwise defined in this Offer. ‘you’ and ‘your’ means the person or persons in whose name the account will be held with Tyro.

This Offer is available from 9.00am [22 October 2024] (Sydney time) until 5.00pm [20 December 2024] (Sydney time) (Offer Period).

To be eligible for this Offer, all of the following criteria must be met (Eligibility Criteria):

• During the Offer Period, you must have:
  • received an email or an invitation from Tyro inviting you to take up this Offer; and
  • been referred by Telstra to Tyro as a potential Tyro merchant; and
• You must have applied to become a Tyro merchant, during the Offer Period and be approved as a Tyro merchant within 30 days of submitting your Application;
• You must not be on a special pricing rate provided by a Tyro partner or authorised representative of Tyro;
• You must not have been previously approved by Tyro for any Tyro Services in the (6) months prior to the start of the Offer Period
• You must not be an additional terminal or MID (additional account) to an existing location or existing ABN, (excluding where it applies to a merchant group, corporate group, buying group or franchise group where you are a new business to Tyro); and
• You must start transacting using your Tyro Electronic Payments Facility within 60 days after we notify you that we have accepted your Application;

Tyro may, in its sole discretion, determine whether or not the Eligibility Criteria are met.

This Offer is not available to health or allied health merchants.

Provided the Eligibility Criteria are met, you will be entitled to a $200 Visa Activ™ prepaid gift card (Reward). You will receive a unique code within 6-8 weeks after the end of the Offer Period, for you to redeem the Reward at rewards.tyro.com. The Reward must be activated within 3 months otherwise it will expire and will not be reissued. The Reward cannot be refunded, replaced or exchanged, nor the expiry date extended. The use of the Reward is subject to the Activ gift card terms and conditions available at https://activgiftcard.com.au/terms-conditions/.

Tyro reserves the right to extend or withdraw this Offer at any time at its sole discretion. If Tyro withdraws the Offer, Tyro will honour the Offer in respect of all persons that have their Applications approved by Tyro before the Offer is withdrawn, provided the applicants satisfy all of the Eligibility Criteria.
