Hi I am Errin, the Health Team’s go-to person for processing applications, training front-line staff to use Tyro’s Medicare Easyclaim & Integrated EFTPOS features, I handle tricky work-flow questions and generally ensure that all our customers have the smoothest Tyro experience possible. I joined Tyro as an Account Manager in November 2013.


  • One of the most satisfying aspects of my role is introducing practice staff to their new Tyro solution. It’s rewarding to be able to see practice managers and front desk staff become completely at ease with the Tyro workflow within their practice management software. The feedback I receive about our product is always really positive. Practices tell me they ‘love’ their Tyro terminal – before joining Tyro I never would have imagined people could feel so strongly about an EFTPOS terminal!
  • I am a not-so-secret Excel nerd. Most people shudder at the thought of spreadsheets, but crunching the numbers for our Team’s reports is one of my favourite parts of the month. Lucky for me the company is growing rapidly, which means that this reporting is becoming a bigger and bigger component of my role.
  • People would probably be surprised to learn that I hold a degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice. I am fascinated by how the mind works and the thought processes behind a person’s decisions and behaviours, particularly when these fall outside the bounds of the law. Understandably, there’s not much call for criminal profiling in my current role at Tyro. However, I’ve been able to put the analytical and interpersonal skills I developed during my studies to good use.
  • The culture & people at Tyro are what keeps me coming back, day after day. I feel lucky to be able to work with such a bright and committed team. Regardless of one’s area of responsibility, the merchant’s cause is at the centre of our work. There is a real sense that what we are doing matters – it’s not ‘just EFTPOS’ – we’re striving to do better by the small & medium businesses that have been neglected by the big banks for so long.
