How do I apply for and get an EFTPOS machine?
To get an EFTPOS machine with Tyro, your first step is to get a quote. Here is how:
- Call us on 1300 00 TYRO (8976) Mon-Fri 8.30am to 5pm (Sydney time) and we will walk you through a simple application form. Alternatively, visit the ‘Get Started’ page on our website, input some details about your business and one of our sales representatives will be in touch.
- Once that is done, allow a few days for your application to be approved
- Then once approved, we will arrange for your EFTPOS machine to be delivered
Things you need for set-up
For a mobile EFTPOS machine, it’s recommended you provide a WiFi network for your EFTPOS machine. If you cannot provide a WiFi network, you can use the existing 4G mobile connection offered in most EFTPOS machines.
For a countertop EFTPOS machine, it’s recommended you provide an Ethernet network for your EFTPOS machine. If you cannot provide a Ethernet network, you can use the existing 3G mobile connection offered in CounterTop EFTPOS machines.
If you are planning to use, or already use a Point of Sale (POS) or Practice Management Software (PMS) system, your EFTPOS machine may be able to connect to the POS/PMS directly – meaning it is “integrated”.
