What is Tap and Save?

Tyro Tap and Save ^* is Tyro’s version of ‘least-cost routing’, otherwise known as ‘lowest-cost routing’, ‘low-cost routing’, ‘merchant routing’ or ‘smart routing’. It is when Tap & Go debit card transactions less than $1,000 are processed through the debit network that costs the least providing you with a lower acquiring cost.
